MEDIATION DANS LE MUSÉE

„Mediation dans le musée“ is a series of mediative mirrors for Centre Pompidou. The mirror as a direct self-experience of the different art movements. The three mirrors act as a tool for a better understanding of modern art movements. They promote the understanding of the different characteristics. The mirror of cubism is disassembled and reduced to geometric forms. By the different angles of the individual parts, one sees its mirror image from different perspectives.

The futurism mirror is a mirrored cube with an integrated screen. The application shows the own movement in superimposed images. The expressionistic mirror consists of a round mirror with a light source. It rotates slowly and therefore creates an expressionistic shadow play in the face.
